Gabrielle Shiozawa

Gabrielle Shiozawa is a News Reporter at Deseret Digital Media since February 2023, focusing on courts, crime, community, and military issues in northern Utah for KSL.com. Prior roles include a Breaking News Intern at KSL.com, where Gabrielle covered breaking news stories and produced in-depth articles. Previously, Gabrielle served as Magazine Editor In Chief at The Daily Universe, overseeing content curation and mentoring journalism students. Additional experience includes a Digital Content Intern position with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where Gabrielle wrote for various publications and created social media content. Gabrielle's journalism career began at The Daily Universe with roles ranging from Copyeditor to Student Reporter. Early reporting experience was gained at Moapa Valley Progress, where Gabrielle authored numerous articles and contributed photography. Gabrielle holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Brigham Young University.
