Allan Gunnerson

Allan has served on the Deseret First Board of Directors since 2001. He has chaired the Board and has worked on various committees, including Strategic Planning, Asset and Liability, Loan Policy, Training, Compensation, and Member Relations. He is retired from the Church Educational System where he served in various teaching and administrative positions, most recently as director of the Institutes of Religion at the University of Utah and LDS Business College. He has written in the field of compensation management, has served on other boards and in leadership capacities, and is currently involved in other professional and educational endeavors. His education includes a BS degree in Cultural Geography and Political Science from the University of Utah, and MEd and EdD degrees in college and university administration from Brigham Young University.
