David Hinkle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Desert Door Distillery, starting in January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Operations at Buddhas Brew Kombucha from October 2020 to January 2022. David also held the same position at Independence Brewing Co. from September 2011 to July 2020. Before transitioning into operations roles, David worked as a Lead Teacher at CCOA from December 2008 to August 2011. Their early career involved working as an Engineer in Training (EIT) at C Faulkner Engineering from May 2007 to December 2008.
David Hinkle obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mississippi. In addition, they obtained a certification as an HACCP (Food Safety) Auditor from Zosi in October 2021.
