Celina Coleman serves as the Director of Operations, Social Responsibility & Desert Financial Foundation at Desert Financial Credit Union since October 2023. Previously, Celina was the Executive Director at The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix from January 2021 to October 2023. With extensive experience in educational programming and community engagement, Celina held several key roles at the Desert Botanical Garden, including Program Director for Children's Education and Interim Director of Education. Additional experience includes positions at the Musical Instrument Museum as Public Programs Manager, and the Arizona Humanities Council as Senior Programs & Grants Coordinator. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in History from Arizona State University, a Mini MBA in Nonprofit Organizations from the University of St. Thomas, and an M.A. in Art and Museum Studies from Georgetown University.
