Rekha Athreya

Rekha Athreya's work experience includes various roles and responsibilities in different organizations. Rekha currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing Operations at Desert Financial Credit Union, starting in 2022. Previously, at Arizona State University, Rekha held multiple positions, including Director of Research and Insights and Senior Manager of Marketing and Data Analytics. Rekha was also the Manager of Alumni Marketing and Communications, where they developed strategic marketing plans and initiatives. Prior to that, Rekha worked as the Community Relations and Education Program Administrator at Lake Forest Open Lands Association and as the Director of Development and Community Relations at Prairie Crossing Charter School. Rekha began their career as the Volunteer Center Program Manager at HelpLine of Delaware & Morrow Counties.

Rekha Athreya obtained a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree with a focus on Urban Studies/Affairs/Nonprofit Management from Arizona State University between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business and Marketing from Charles Darwin University from 1993 to 1995. Their education journey started at PSG College of Arts and Science, where they completed a degree in Business Management from 1990 to 1993.

Aside from their formal education, Rekha Athreya has also obtained several certifications. In May 2021, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. In January 2020, they completed a certification in Storytelling for Advertising Campaigns from LinkedIn. Additionally, they have acquired certifications in Being an Effective Team Member, Building Trust, Customer Service: Serving Internal Customers, and Managing Team Creativity, all from LinkedIn, in October 2019.
