Ian Gammond

Ian Gammond is the current General Manager of Desert Turfcare at Desert Group. Ian has over twenty years of experience in the turf management and landscape industry. Prior to their current position, they were the Maintenance Manager at Irrigation Trade Middle East and before that, the Gardens Director at the Court of H.H. Sheikh Salman Bin Isa Al Khalifa. Ian has also worked as a Landscape & Turf Manager at the K-Club in Barbuda & Antigua and as a Gardens Foreman for The Royal Parks in London. Ian is skilled in conducting research and development on new varieties of turf, implementing employee training programs, and creating incentive schemes.

Ian Gammond reports to Michael Mascarenhas, Group CEO. They are on a team with Vishal Riya - Chief Financial Officer, Paul Knightley - General Manager, Desert Leisure Swimming Pool, and Antoun Chahin - General Manager, Desert Landscape Company.
