Dan Franks

Dan Franks serves as the President of the Board of Directors at Desert Marigold School since November 2020, where responsibilities include guiding the school’s strategic direction and governance. Prior to this, Franks held the position of Treasurer on the same board, ensuring financial stability and compliance. Franks has extensive experience in data engineering, having worked as VP of Data at Xero from January 2021 to August 2024, where responsibilities included leading a diverse data team and integrating data platforms. Prior roles include Director of Data Engineering at Ticketmaster, where Franks contributed to developing the data roadmap for Live Nation, and earlier as Chief Engineer and CTO at CompuNet Credit Services, overseeing all IT deliverables. Franks also has experience as a Senior System Administrator at Arizona State University and as CEO/CTO of LINKnet Internet Services. Franks pursued education in Computer Information Systems and holds an Associate degree in General Technologies & Liberal Arts from Mohave Community College.
