Joanne Huston

Joanne Huston, CEBS, SPHR, has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Desert Research Institute since November 2015, where responsibilities include employee relations, recruitment, training, payroll, benefits, and HR metrics. Prior experience includes roles as HR Analyst for the City of North Las Vegas, where management of benefit programs and workers' compensation compliance was key, and as Account Manager at Lockton Companies, focusing on client account management and healthcare reform compliance. Previous positions also include Employment Coordinator at Cirque du Soleil, Benefits Administrator at NV Energy and National Insurance Crime Bureau, and HR Coordinator at Marsh. Joanne holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
