Hitesh Kenjale

Co-Founder at Desi Hangover

Hitesh Kenjale has had a wide range of work experiences. From 2012 to 2020, they have worked with a variety of companies and organizations. In 2012, they interned with Dar Al Sabeel | Arab Activities for Human Rights as part of an AIESEC global exchange program. In this role, they taught students English and basic math, and helped them develop analytical skills through interactive learning. Hitesh also participated in fundraising for the orphanage. In 2013, they became a Team Leader at AIESEC and a Business Development Manager at Theek Kar Do. In 2020, they became an Acumen Fellow and a Mentor to women entrepreneurs in the WE RISE program by Villgro Philippines. In this role, they provided strategic advisory on financial management and business growth. In 2014, they co-founded DesiHangover, an ecosystem focused solution to develop artisan clusters in India. In 2022, they will become a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley.

Hitesh Kenjale obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Mumbai between 2010 and 2014. Hitesh then obtained a certification in the Generation Next Program from Dale Carnegie in 2011. Hitesh went on to receive a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and Columbia Business School. In 2018-2019, they completed the Stanford Seed program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
