Tracy Powelson

Tracy Powelson, M.S., serves as the Director of Administration at the Design-Build Institute of America, overseeing human resources, information technology, office administration, and facilities management for a national trade association with a $10 million budget. Previously, Tracy held the position of Director of Administration at Maryland REALTORS®, managing operations and special projects for the state's largest realtor trade association. Prior experience includes a decade at Legum & Norman as General Property Manager and over a decade at BOMI International as Director of Human Resources & Administration, where foundational human resource and facilities management systems were developed. Tracy holds a Master of Science in Management and Human Resources from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Baltimore.
