Troy Barney

Troy Barney is an experienced designer with a strong background in architecture and urban design. Currently working at Design Collective, Inc. since October 2019, Troy previously held designer positions at Desmone & Associates Architects from October 2013 to July 2019. Additionally, Troy served as a Sustainability and Development Fellow at The Kingsley Association, where responsibilities included managing Net-Zero Design and integrating green infrastructure into shipping containers, organizing community outreach strategies, and successfully securing a grant from The Heinz Endowment. Troy's academic credentials include a Master of Architecture from Hampton University and a UDREAM Fellowship in Urban Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
