Kat Hodge Allegretti

Kat Hodge Allegretti is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in custom signage, experiential elements, integrated technology, and architectural specialties. At DCL (Design Communications Ltd.), Kat currently serves as a Design Engineer since February 2018, having previously held the position of Director of Design Engineering at the same company from 2002 to 2017. Kat also contributed as the Director of Design Engineering at Rivet Design and Fabrication for nearly a year in 2017. A skilled Architectural Model Builder at Architectural Illusions from 1995 to 2005, Kat constructed over 100 complex architectural models. Earlier experience includes roles as a Visual Merchandiser at Color Kinetics, where innovative RGB LED displays were designed for trade shows, and as a Red Cross Certified Swim Instructor and Head Lifeguard. Kat holds a BFA in Industrial Design and Sculpture from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has been recognized with a Key award from the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards.
