Kurt Walecki

Kurt Walecki is an accomplished design executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. As a founding member of the Design Executive Council, Kurt has contributed to shaping design practices at the industry level. At Intuit, Kurt served as Senior Vice President of Design for QuickBooks and held multiple senior positions in TurboTax, overseeing design and user experience. Kurt's tenure at Nokia included significant roles such as Head of Design for Connected Devices and leadership in strategy and design initiatives. Earlier in the career, Kurt worked as an Associate Consultant at Booz. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Human Factors from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
