Mariam Moazzam

Mariam Moazzam is a dedicated and accomplished individual currently serving as a Resettlement, Asylum and Integration Housing Intern at the International Rescue Committee, where support is provided to assist refugees and asylum seekers. Mariam is recognized as a Jeannette K. Watson Fellow through the Watson Foundation and contributes as an Organizer and Marketing & Photography Associate for the Muslim Interscholastic Tournament. Experience includes a Sales Associate role at The TJX Companies, Inc., where customer engagement and sales promotion take place, and a Henna Design Artist providing commission-based services since 2018. Mariam previously held the position of Marketing Coordinator at the Baruch Muslim Business Association, orchestrating events and networking activities. Additional experience includes leadership roles at the Bronx High School of Science, extensive community engagement work with the U.S. Census Bureau, and a Communications Intern role at Sunnyside Shines Business Improvement District. Educational background includes ongoing studies at Baruch College after completing a high school diploma at the Bronx High School of Science.
