Matt Schirmann

Matt Schirmann, Ph.D. is currently working as a Project Engineer at Design Research Engineering. Prior to this, Matt has experience as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan and as a Production Engineering Intern at Back Cove Yachts. Matt holds a Ph.D. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, as well as a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Signal and Image Processing and Machine Learning. Matt's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan.
