Jorge Rodriguez

Jorge Rodriguez is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on materials handling and mechanical design. Currently serving as a Material Handling Project Engineer at Design Systems, Inc. since October 2015, Jorge collaborates with Manufacturing Logistics Engineers for Stellantis, specializing in the development of Plans for Every Part (PFEP) and optimizing 2D layouts for warehousing and production areas. Previously, from August 2014 to October 2015, Jorge worked as a Mechanical Designer at Magna International, where responsibilities included verifying client requirements for various assembly and lifting systems and creating 3D designs while ensuring compliance with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), safety, ergonomics, and maintenance access. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey, obtained in 2014.
