Amanda Ackerman (Howell)

Amanda Ackerman (Howell) is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in the sports and gaming industries. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at Design Works Gaming since April 2021, Amanda collaborates closely with the founder on strategic business decisions while promoting transparent employee communication. Concurrently, Amanda has provided Respite and Habilitation services at ACCENT on Family Care Services since July 2016, holding various certifications in CPR, First Aid, and abuse prevention. Previous roles include Manager of People & Culture at the Arizona Coyotes and Tucson Roadrunners, where Amanda implemented diversity initiatives and managed HR functions for significant staff populations.
