Klaus Heckel

Klaus Heckel has extensive work experience in project management, strategic development, and process improvement. Klaus is currently the Head of PMO at Hagenuk Marinekommunikation GmbH since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DESIGNA as the Head of Strategic Development and later as an International Project Manager from April 2018 to August 2020. From March 2014 to March 2018, Klaus worked at Senvion GmbH as a Process and Improvement Manager / Project Manager, where they implemented and improved business processes and led a company-wide PPM software implementation project. Klaus was also a Consultant and Trainer for project management topics and managed global project management processes. Before Senvion GmbH, Klaus worked as a Project Manager at Senvion Canada Inc. from August 2011 to February 2014, leading a major wind park project and providing sales support. Klaus also worked as a Project Manager at REpower Systems SE from June 2008 to July 2011 and as a Junior Project Manager at Becker Bau GmbH und Co.KG from June 2006 to July 2007.

Klaus Heckel completed their education as follows:

- From 2000 to 2006, they attended Technische Hochschule Lübeck, where they obtained a Diploma in Civil Engineering.

- From 2006 to 2008, they enrolled in Fachhochschule Kiel, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations.

Additionally, Klaus Heckel obtained several certifications:

- In January 2017, they received the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.

- In March 2018, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from PeopleCert.

- In the same month, they also achieved the PRINCE2 Foundation certification from PeopleCert.
