Matt McCann

Matt McCann has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Matt began their career as a Solicitor at Allens, where they worked from February 1997 to February 1999. Matt then joined LongAcre Partners as an Associate from October 2000 to September 2001. After that, they worked as the Business Affairs Director & Company Secretary at Shazam Entertainment Limited from October 2001 to October 2005.

In November 2005, Matt took on the role of Commercial and Strategy Director at BT Movio, where they stayed until September 2007. Matt then joined iSelect as the Corporate Development Director in February 2008, and later became the Chief Executive Officer from February 2012 to January 2014.

Matt McCann continued to demonstrate their leadership skills at Quandary Consulting, working as a Growth Consultant from November 2013 to April 2015. In the same year, they joined Comparethemarket.com.au as their Chief Executive Officer from April 2015 to July 2016. After that, they served as the Non-Executive Director at LocalAgentFinder from September 2015 to June 2016, and again from October 2018 to the present.

Currently, Matt holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Designer Journeys, where they first served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director from February 2019 to February 2020, and then as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director since March 2020.

Matt McCann attended The Southport School from an unspecified start year to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1992 to 1996.
