Barbara Natali-Sherman

Barbara Natali-Sherman has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years in design and user experience. Barbara most recently worked at DesignMap as a Design Director, where they led the design team in creating user-centric experiences for clients like Salesforce and Adobe. Prior to that, they were a UX Lead at DesignMap and a Senior Experience Designer, where they designed various user experiences and contributed to the development of design systems and prototypes.

Before joining DesignMap, Barbara worked as a Senior UX Designer at RAPP, where they designed interactive frameworks for digital products for companies like Charles Schwab and HP. Barbara also worked as a Designer and Front-End Developer at Storefront Political Media and as a UI Designer and Front-End Developer at Mediatrope.

Barbara'searly career included roles as a Visual Designer at Dyett & Bhatia and Sign Africa, and as a Graphic Designer at Gap Inc. Barbara also gained experience in design research and strategy as a Design Researcher & Strategist at Unicef, where they conducted field research in Uganda and developed tech-based solutions.

Barbara's extensive work experience showcases their expertise in designing user experiences, conducting research, and developing design strategies for various industries and clients.

Barbara Natali-Sherman completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and Psychology at Macalester College from 2000 to 2004. Barbara then pursued an Associate degree in Graphic Design at The Art Institute of California - San Francisco from 2005 to 2006. In 2013 to 2014, Barbara obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Media Design from the ArtCenter College of Design. Recently, in 2021, they earned a Certificate from d.MBA.
