With a background in brand development, Mary has extensive experience in strategic analysis, product and new business growth, project management and partnership development. In all her work, from tourism marketing to new product development, she has focused on excellent client service.
Mary comes to Designsensory from AMG Solutions, where she served as director of marketing operations, leading cross-functional teams in the business planning and procurement process for customers launching products in the marketplace. Her work included communications, performance tracking and all aspects of project management, from concept research and development to sales and celebrity endorsements.
Prior to AMG, Mary was vice president of client services for Knoxville Tourism and Sports Corporation, where she collaborated with members of the community to craft unique experiences for visitors and directed consulting, logistical and operational planning for events that brought 70,000 to 80,000 visitors to Knoxville each year. She developed revenue streams through community partnerships and designed and implemented training programs for more than 2,000 Knoxville ambassadors.
She has been a part of many boards, councils and professional groups, including the Governor’s Conference on Tourism, the Greater Knoxville Attractions & Museum Council and the Southeast Festivals & Events Association.
When she’s not cheering on the Lady Vols, Mary can be found spending time embracing the journey. She loves time with her family, and a good shopping trip truly can be therapeutic. But you will find Mary her happiest either on a plane to who knows where or just anywhere not sitting still, learning about the journeys of others.
