Lokanath Nagaraja

Lokanath Nagaraja joined Desimone in 2007 and is an Associate in the firm’s New York Office. He has over 17 years of experience in structural engineering, designing new structures and renovating existing buildings, with a specific focus on high-rise structures.

Mr. Nagaraja is working on the design and management of several tall, mixed-use developments in New York and New Jersey. Notable projects include a 1.5-million-sf, mixed-use development in Jersey City with a 650-ft-tall tower; 250 Water Street, a 950,000 sf mixed-use development with a 350-ft tall tower; 311 W 42nd street, a 500,000 sf, 30-story mixed-used building; and 70 Hudson Yards, a 1.2-million-sf, 650-ft-tall office building.

Mr. Nagaraja’s experience also includes Sendero Verde Building B, a mixed-used development with affordable housing, a school, and public spaces in New York City; Hotel Riggs, a renovation project involving the addition of a roof top unit to an existing building in Washington DC originally constructed in 1900; and The Standard at South Market, a 230,000 sf luxury condominium in New Orleans.

Mr. Nagaraja earned a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from The University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bangalore University in India.
