Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith has extensive work experience in the financial security industry. Shawn started their career at Prudential Financial in 1984 as an Assistant Vice President. Shawn then worked at London Life as a Regional Director from 1993 to 1997 before joining RSA as a Brokerage Manager. In 2001, Shawn joined Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network as a Managing Partner, where they stayed until 2005. Shawn then moved to Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company, where they held various leadership roles, including Regional Vice President, Branch Manager, and Vice President of Sales and Distribution. In 2016, Shawn joined Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network again, this time as a Branch Manager and later as a Managing Director. Shawn'sresponsibilities have included developing and growing market share in multiple areas and helping individuals and businesses with their financial security plans.
