Benjamin Chua

Benjamin Chua is an experienced financial services professional with a focus on commercial mortgage investment and real estate financing. Currently serving as Managing Director & Market Leader at Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company since May 2016, Benjamin manages a commercial mortgage investment portfolio across Canada and leads real estate development financing teams in major urban centers. Prior roles include Executive Director at Fifth Third Bank, First Vice President at United Overseas Bank Limited, and Head of Corporate Finance at Bank of China (Canada), among others, with extensive expertise in real estate lending and corporate banking. Benjamin holds an MBA in Strategy & Marketing from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Analysis from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
