Christine Lajoie

Christine Lajoie is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in strategic event planning and corporate communication. Currently serving as a Conseillère principale in Événements et projets spéciaux at Desjardins since April 2018, Christine Lajoie specializes in planning and executing strategic events to support the President's Office and executive committee. Prior to this role, Christine held multiple positions at BDC between 2010 and 2018, including Conseillère principale in corporate communication and Chef for events and sponsorships, where responsibilities included developing corporate communication strategies and managing high-profile events. Earlier career experience includes roles at the Société de transport de Montréal as a Conseillère corporative in public relations and at TD in various communication capacities, culminating in a role as Directrice in corporate communications. Christine Lajoie holds a B.A. in public communication with a specialization in public relations from Université Laval.
