Hamza Humayun

Hamza Humayun is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in various high-impact roles. Currently serving as a Senior Data Science Advisor at Desjardins General Insurance Group since December 2020 and as a Data Scientist at Torstar Corporation since July 2019, Hamza has demonstrated expertise in data analysis and application development. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at Track DDB and a Consultant at Vena Solutions, along with a notable position as a Data Science Manager at the Technology for the People Initiative, where Hamza led projects analyzing crime patterns in Pakistan. Hamza's early career includes actuarial positions at Reinsurance Group of America, Manulife, and Towers Watson, where significant contributions were made in actuarial analysis and pricing processes. Hamza holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
