Karine Kaprielova

Karine Kaprielova, FCAS, is an experienced actuarial professional with a diverse background in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Actuarial Team Lead & Expert at Desjardins since July 2017, Kaprielova oversees rate adequacy and competitiveness for Automobile Personal Lines products in Ontario, facilitates regulatory approval processes, and nurtures a team of analysts. Prior roles include Senior Analyst at TD, where Kaprielova led reviews of internal rate indications, and Actuarial Analyst at Desjardins General Insurance Group, focusing on the integration and pricing of recreational vehicles. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Université de Montréal, Kaprielova has received recognition for impactful contributions, including the TD "Act for Impact" award.
