Timo Besenreuther

Timo Besenreuther has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2006, they co-founded EZdesign Effertz & Besenreuther GbR, where they worked as a Web Developer, building websites, online shops, and cloud software. In 2010, they transitioned to working as a Piwik Web Analytics Core Developer and Consultant, contributing to the open-source web analytics tool used on 1.4 million websites. Timo also provided freelance consulting services to startups and enterprises deploying Piwik.

In 2014, Timo joined KINEXON, initially serving as the Head of Software Engineering before advancing to the role of Vice President of Engineering in 2018. Timo later became the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CTO / CPO) in 2020. At KINEXON, they contributed to the development and management of products and technology.

More recently, Timo joined deskbird in 2023 as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, they lead the engineering organization and focuses on driving growth in terms of product, technology, and organizational culture.

Through their various roles, Timo has gained extensive experience in software development, product management, and technology leadership.

From 2008 to 2014, Timo Besenreuther pursued a Master of Science degree in Informatics at the Technical University of Munich.
