Joey Junyi ZHONG

Joey Junyi Zhong has a diverse background in various industries and roles. Joey Junyi recently co-founded Desmo Labs and serves as the COO. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant and Research Partner at RNS-ID. Joey also gained experience in entrepreneurship and innovation at ESCP Business School. Additionally, they have a background in machine learning in healthcare and biosciences from ETH Zürich. Joey served as a Xiaomi France Campus Ambassador and conducted research as a trainee at LIG - Grenoble Informatics Laboratory. Joey Junyi also worked as an Engineer in software development at Orange, where they developed Python automation scripts and created management tools for telecommunication services. Joey started their career with an internship as a BigData platform developer at Red Hat.

Joey Junyi ZHONG has a diverse education history. Joey Junyi obtained a Doctorate Degree in Artificial Intelligence from École des Ponts ParisTech between 2021 and 2024. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AIDS) at both the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble and Université Grenoble Alpes from 2020 to 2021.

Before their master's studies, Joey completed an Engineer's degree in Software Engineering with excellent performance (Mention Bien) at ISEP - école d'ingénieurs du numérique from 2018 to 2020. During this time, they also attended French Course Night school at Institut catholique de Paris, focusing on French Language and Literature at the B2 level.

In 2017-2018, Joey participated in an academic exchange program at ESAIP, École Supérieure Angevine en Informatique et Productique, where they studied Digital Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a certification (835/990) from The TOEIC Program in June 2020.

Joey further expanded their knowledge by pursuing a degree in Entrepreneuriat / études entrepreneuriales at ESCP Business School from 2021 to 2022.
