Susan Thevar

Susan Thevar is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Desmond Tutu Health Foundation since June 2022, Susan previously held significant positions such as Chief Operations Officer and Head of Finance at Community Chest of the Western Cape from July 2012 to October 2021. Earlier in career, Susan worked as Financial Consultant and Financial Manager at Black Sash between January 2009 and December 2013. Susan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Durban Westville, earned from 1997 to 2000, and possesses a strong foundation in business and finance management.
