Michael McSwain

Michael McSwain currently serves as the Interim Chief Business Officer at Desoto Independent School District as of December 2023. Previously, Michael held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Brock ISD and Director at Gallagher Construction Services. Michael has an extensive background in educational finance, having retired as Chief Financial Officer from Brock ISD after overseeing all non-academic functions. Michael's experience also includes roles as Senior Chief Technology and Career Education Officer at Grand Prairie ISD, Assistant Superintendent for Finance at Floresville ISD, CFO at Cedar Hill ISD, and Director of Finance at Joshua ISD. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University.
