Gianluca Capelo

Gianluca Capelo is currently engaged as a Research Intern at the Instituto de Ciencias de la Computación in the Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory since April 2024. While also working at Despegar since August 2021, Gianluca has advanced through multiple roles from Software Developer 1 to Software Engineer 1, demonstrating growth from a junior to a semi-senior level in software development. Additionally, Gianluca contributed as a Teaching Assistant in Algorithms and Data Structures at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales, UBA, in two separate tenures from March 2022 to September 2022 and from March 2024 to December 2024. Currently, Gianluca is on track to complete a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Buenos Aires by December 2024.
