Oren Mechanic, MD, MPH, MBA, currently serves as a Strategic Advisor and has multiple advisory board roles. At Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Oren holds positions as Physician and Associate Professor, also contributing as Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor at FIU College of Medicine. As a Venture Partner at Despierta and former Chief Clinical Officer at eMed, Oren focuses on democratizing healthcare. Previous roles include Director of Telehealth and Assistant Medical Director at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, where over 500,000 virtual visits were facilitated.
