Pierre-Emmanuel Dumouchel

Pierre-Emmanuel Dumouchel's work experience includes being the CEO and co-founder of DessIA Technologies, a platform for mechanical engineering design based on artificial intelligence. Pierre-Emmanuel started working at DessIA in January 2017 and their role involves finding ideal solutions for engineering projects by considering specifications and experience. Prior to that, they were the CEO and co-founder of Dessia-Technologies, starting in January 2017.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Pierre-Emmanuel worked at Groupe PSA from 2008 to 2017. Pierre-Emmanuel held various roles including Innovation Pilot/Transmission Expert, Architect of Gearbox, and Head of Simulation and Functional Design for Gearbox. In these positions, they were responsible for the simulation and functional design of gearbox components.

Prior to Groupe PSA, Pierre-Emmanuel worked at EDF from 2004 to 2008 as part of their doctoral research in numerical and theoretical mechanics. Pierre-Emmanuel'sresearch focused on digital developments and calculations related to Code_Aster, including constructing finite elements and studying parameterized behavior laws.

Pierre-Emmanuel Dumouchel's education history is as follows:

- From 2001 to 2004, they attended ISAE-Supméca – Institut supérieur de mécanique de Paris, where they earned a degree in Ingénieur Mécanique et Calcul Numérique.

- In 2004, they moved on to Université Paris VI, where they pursued a doctoral degree in mechanics and completed it in 2008.

- Additionally, from 2003 to 2004, they studied at CentraleSupélec and obtained a DEA (Diplôme d'études approfondies) in Dynamique des Structures et des Systèmes Couplés.
