Carla Felicella

Carla Felicella is an accomplished event director with extensive experience in strategic marketing and event production. Currently serving as Event Director at Destination Canada since December 2020, Carla has previously held various roles including Special Projects & Events Specialist and Marketing Specialist. With a background that includes significant positions at TED Conferences and earlier roles at Destination Canada, Carla's expertise spans global event strategy, conference production, and brand activations. As an independent contractor, Carla delivered successful projects for clients in the culinary, tourism, and hospitality sectors. Carla's leadership experience is further demonstrated through a decade as Director of Event Production at Rare Indigo Destination Marketing, where award-winning teams were cultivated to create impactful corporate events. Carla's career began in public relations at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and is supported by a Foundation Program in Management for Women from Simon Fraser University.
