Destination Imagination
Patrick Reckas-Jackson has been working at the Saint Paul Public Library since 2010 as a Materials Selector, focusing on collection development for adult and juvenile DVDs, CDs, and vinyl. In addition, they also hold the title of Community Library Manager at Destination ImagiNation, Inc. since 2004, where they work as an Appraiser. Prior to this, they worked at the City of Saint Paul since August 1998 as a Library Associate. Patrick Reckas-Jackson holds a B.A. in Cultural Studies from the University of Minnesota (2002-2005) and an Associate degree in Cinema Production Screenwriting from Minneapolis College (2009-2011).

Destination Imagination
Destination Imagination, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-led non-profit organization whose purpose is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders. The organization seeks to connect students to opportunities emerging in the global digital economy. The most popular education offering is the Challenge Program, where student teams solve open-ended science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) and service learning Challenges and present their solutions to trained Appraisers. Founded in 1982, Destination Imagination has impacted more than 1.5 million students.
