Jennifer van Zelm

Jennifer van Zelm has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jennifer is currently an Advisor, Networker, and Doer at WISE Planet, where they provide change leadership training to underrepresented groups in STEM. Previously, they worked as a Director and CEO at DESTINE Health, a software start-up focused on acute ischemic stroke patient transport protocol. Jennifer was also a member of the Junction Cohort 3 at Platform Calgary. Jennifer has extensive experience as a Technology Advisor at TSGI Corporation, where they helped Canadian companies fund their innovation efforts through tax incentive programs. Jennifer worked as an Independent Contractor at the Schulich School of Engineering, assisting with diversity strategy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. In addition, Jennifer worked at TRTech as a Strategic Planning professional and as an R&D Manager/Research Scientist. Jennifer started their career as an Undergraduate Lab Developer at the University of Calgary and gained engineering experience as an Internship Student at TRLabs.
