Kim Berg is a Senior Design Engineer at Detection Technology, specializing in FPGA design & verification for X-ray imaging products. Prior to this, Kim held positions at Nordic Semiconductor, Danfoss Drives, and Espotel, gaining experience in design verification of wireless IoT SoCs, FPGA design & verification for AC drives, and maintenance and SW design for production test systems. Kim holds a Master of Science in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician from the University of Vaasa.

Its security offering includes products for scanning of trains, vehicles and containers, air cargo, baggage and parcels, as well as portable and people scanning. The medical supplies include computer tomography (CT), bone densitometry, mammography, and chest and trauma X-ray. The industrial products comprise detectors for food industry, pharmaceuticals, forestry, automotive, renewable energy, oil and gas, mining, agriculture, recycling and waste sorting, aerospace and defense, and industrial process control.
