Tuomas Holma

Director, Product Management at Detection Technology

Tuomas Holma has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of X-ray detectors and imaging components. Tuomas is currently the Director of Product Management at Detection Technology, a global provider of X-ray detector solutions. Prior to this, they worked at Varex Imaging Corporation as the Director of Product Management and Applications Engineering, where they led a global team for detectors. Tuomas also served as a Product Manager for X-ray Detectors at Varex Imaging, responsible for global detector applications.

Before their time at Varex Imaging, Tuomas worked at PerkinElmer, Inc. as the Senior Manager of CMOS Engineering and Global Product Manager for Medical Imaging. In these roles, they oversaw the development and manufacture of X-ray Flat Panel Detectors (FPDs) and managed product management responsibilities.

Additionally, Tuomas has experience in sales and marketing roles. Tuomas served as the Field Sales Engineer for Imaging at Acal BFi and as the VP of Sales and Marketing at CadFaster, Inc. At CadFaster, they introduced cloud services and mobile applications for 3D graphics optimization and real-time communication.

Tuomas also worked as an Analyst at GlobalData Plc, conducting market research for the global beverage and packaging industries. Tuomas started their career as an Independent Business Consultant before joining Detection Technology as a Senior Product Manager.

Throughout their career, Tuomas has demonstrated leadership in product management, sales and marketing, and business development. Tuomas has a strong background in the X-ray detector industry and has built strategic partnerships with key customers and suppliers.

From 2009 to 2013, they attended the University of Winchester and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Tuomas'sfield of study was Master of Business Administration.

Between 1991 and 1996, they studied at the University of Oulu where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Economics & Management.

Following that, from 1996 to 1998, they continued their studies at the same university in the field of Management Accounting, completing a specific program or course known as "Studies."

Finally, in 1990 and 1991, they pursued studies in Industrial Economics & Management at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Again, this was a general course or program referred to as "Studies."
