Detour Discotheque
Detour is the unexpected discotheque – a pop-up experience bringing peace, love and mirror balls to remote and beautiful locations around the world. In 2022, Detour appeared in the tiny fishing village of Thingeyri, in the Westfjords of Iceland, for two nights of dancing under the aurora. In 2023 it's heading to the Isle of Coll, in the Scottish Hebrides, for a truly cosmic disco in an official Dark-Sky Community. Detour Discotheque has been featured by Condé Nast Traveller, Lonely Planet, NME, Mixmag, DJ Mag, The Independent, Metro, Time Out, GQ, Evening Standard, Matador Network and the BBC. In 2022 it was one of Time Out's 'Best New Things to Do in the World'. In September 2023, Detour Discotheque will open for two nights on the wild and beautiful Isle of Coll – an official ‘dark-sky’ island – for a truly cosmic disco under the Milky Way. A wormhole back to the past, and the meeting point for a global community, Detour Discotheque also represents the future of experiential travel. Tickets for the 2023 event sold out within seconds.
