Trevor James currently serves as the Head Coach and General Manager of Detroit City FC since January 2019. Prior to this role, Trevor held the position of Assistant Head Coach and Technical Director at Indy Eleven Professional Soccer from February 2017 to May 2018. Trevor's experience also includes serving as the Director of Scouting for Chicago Fire Soccer Club between January 2014 and December 2015, and as a First Team Coach for Portland Timbers from December 2011 to December 2013. Additionally, Trevor was the Head Coach for the World XI team in the Michael Essien Foundation's Game for Peace and Hope in May 2013. Previously, from June 2006 to December 2011, Trevor contributed to LA Galaxy as an Assistant Coach and Director of Player Development.
