John Wisely

John Wisely has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as a reporter for the Detroit Free Press since September 2006 and as a correspondent for USA TODAY since August 2010. Prior to these roles, John worked as a reporter for The Detroit News from July 2003 to September 2006, The Oakland Press from June 1998 to July 2003, Times Herald from 1995 to 1998, and News-Herald Newspaper from 1990 to 1995. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Wayne State University, earned between 1984 and 1988, and received a diploma from Detroit Catholic Central High School, graduating in 1984.
