Kelly Jordan

Kelly Jordan is a seasoned multimedia photo editor and drone pilot currently employed at the Detroit Free Press since March 2020. Previous roles include digital storytelling and social media strategist at Statesman Journal/Gannett, where responsibilities encompassed senior content editing for daily news production, and visual editor at USA TODAY, focusing on both still and video projects. Kelly's extensive experience also includes video production and editorial photography at Mayo Clinic, visual journalism at The Florida Times-Union, and management responsibilities as AME/photo and multimedia at The Daytona Beach News-Journal. Early career experience includes roles as assistant picture editor and staff photojournalist in various news organizations. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Photography from the University of Central Florida and has completed a multimedia boot camp.
