Tom Lang

Tom Lang is an experienced communications and outreach professional, currently serving as the Community Outreach Director at Michigan Freedom Center since August 2020, where responsibilities include PR, marketing, and fundraising for veterans and active military support. Tom also publishes and manages the Michigan Golf Journal, delivering in-state golf news since January 2018. As Principal Owner of Telday Communications since 2002, Tom consults and markets for a diverse range of clients. Additionally, Tom has contributed as a freelance writer for the Detroit Free Press since 1993 and previously held key roles in corporate communications and development, demonstrating a strong background in PR and marketing across various sectors. Tom holds a BA in Communications from Michigan State University and an Associate degree in Photography and Marketing from Lansing Community College.
