Visitor Experience Lead at Detroit Historical Society

Renea Dooley has a diverse work experience history. Renea started their career at the Detroit Institute of Arts in 1998 as a Museum Shop Salesperson. In this role, they worked until 2001. Renea then joined Coventry Creations in 2003 as a Chandler and stayed there until 2007. Since 2008, Renea has been working at the Detroit Historical Society. Renea began as a Visitor Experience Lead and later took on the role of Visitors Services/Lead VEA. Renea 'sresponsibilities in this position included greeting and assisting visitors, collecting parking fees, opening and closing locations, turning on/off exhibits, and handling sales at the gift shops. Throughout their various positions, Renea has focused on providing excellent customer service and has even trained other employees in front desk procedures.

Renea Dooley earned their Bachelor's degree in Painting from the College for Creative Studies, where they attended from 1983 to 1988.
