Trifun Dimitrijevski, MD, FACEP, is an established Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where roles include Assistant Clerkship Director and Director of High Fidelity Medical Simulation since October 2007. In addition to academic responsibilities, Trifun serves on the Executive Committee of the International Council of Motorsport Sciences (ICMS) as Secretary/Treasurer and Committee Chair for the Annual Congress Committee, focusing on enhancing safety in motorsports. As Medical Director for the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and Co-Chief Medical Officer for SRO Motorsports America, Trifun contributes to motorsport medical oversight. Previous positions also include extensive experience at Detroit Medical Center, along with roles as an associate team physician for the Detroit Pistons and medical provider for events like the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Free Press Marathon. Trifun completed medical education at Wayne State University School of Medicine, culminating in an MD degree.
