Vishal Bhatia MD, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Detroit Medical Center-Adult Central Campus and Sinai-Grace Hospital since March 2023. Previously, Vishal held the position of Managing Director at HW Healthcare Solutions from October 2022 to March 2023 and served as Chief Medical Officer for Lutheran Health Network from 2019 to September 2022. Earlier roles include Associate Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Information Officer at RCCH HealthCare Partners and Capella Healthcare, respectively, where Vishal focused on healthcare technology implementation, physician engagement, and clinical governance. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Willamette Valley Health Solutions and as a Hospitalist. Vishal's educational background comprises an MBA in Healthcare from The George Washington University, a residency in Internal Medicine from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and multiple medical degrees from Tver State Medical Academy and Saratov State Medical University.
