Justen Johnson

Justen Johnson has over a decade of experience in human resources, currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for the Detroit Pistons since 2012. Justen's roles have included Human Resources Manager, Business Partner, Specialist, and Intern, with responsibilities ranging from employee relations and leave administration to benefits management and HRIS implementation. Justen has effectively managed employee claims, compliance with the Affordable Care Act, and recruitment processes while acting as a liaison between HR and Payroll. Before joining the Pistons, Justen worked as a bartender at Levy Restaurants, where training new employees and managing server responsibilities were key duties. Justen holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Criminal Justice from Saginaw Valley State University.
