Pamela J. McClain

Pamela J. McClain has extensive experience in community engagement and executive support, currently serving as the Executive Liaison for Community Engagement and Executive Assistant to the Mayor for the City of Detroit since January 2014. In addition to these roles, McClain has been a Board Member at Detroit Public Television since November 2022 and a Commission Member for the Detroit Crime Commission since February 2021. As the Chief Executive Officer of Insta Writer 4 Hire since April 2020, McClain also leads initiatives as Committee Chair of the Revolving Loan Fund and serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Detroit Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. McClain holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
