Matt Walter

Matt Walter is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving at the Detroit Red Wings since October 2022, Walter previously held a similar role at the Carolina Hurricanes from May 2019 to September 2022. Prior to these positions, Walter was employed at BB&T from April 2014 to May 2019, progressing from Senior DBA to roles involving IT Automation Development. Walter's career began as a Junior Database Administrator at Jackson National Life and included significant contributions as a Subject Matter Expert and Technical Solutions Representative at Hewlett-Packard. Walter holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from Grand Valley State University, one in Management with an emphasis in Information Systems Management and another in Finance, both obtained between 2005 and 2009.
